SmileDesigner is an Invisalign Diamond Apex Provider – the top 1% of providers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa – but what does this mean?
This article will help you choose your Invisalign provider.

Discover the Differences Between Invisalign Providers
Invisalign is an effective way to get a beautiful, healthy smile. This popular orthodontic treatment uses clear aligners to gradually straighten your teeth. For many of our patients, Invisalign is a discreet and more comfortable alternative to traditional metal braces to fix crowded or crooked teeth.
If you are considering Invisalign treatment, how can you be sure that your orthodontist is qualified to provide the highest level of expertise?
The Importance of Experienced Invisalign Orthodontists
Invisalign aligners are highly effective when supervised by an orthodontist. To achieve your dream smile, you need an experienced and knowledgeable orthodontist who can offer you peace of mind and confidence.
But choosing an Invisalign provider can be a difficult job.
Each Invisalign provider goes through extensive professional training to learn how to fit aligners and use the Invisalign software. They can help you decide if treatment is right for you and will achieve the results you are looking for.
However, experience can vary widely between Invisalign providers.
Invisalign has developed a tier level system to help you recognise experienced providers. Each provider is classified based on the number of cases they treat each year.
So what do the different levels mean?
What are the Different Invisalign Provider Levels?
Invisalign ranks its providers based on experience. The more treatments an orthodontist performs, the more experience they gain.
This gives you a good indicator of the orthodontist’s level of knowledge and expertise working the Invisalign system.
There are eight Invisalign provider levels:
Bronze: 0 Points.
Silver: 5,000 Points.
Gold I: 24,000 Points.
Gold II: 30,000 Points.
Platinum I: 60,000 Points.
Platinum II: 100,000 Points.
Diamond I: 140,000 Points.
Diamond II: 200,000 Points.
Diamond II status is for orthodontists who complete at least 400 cases a year. It’s the highest status an orthodontist can earn and acknowledges the experience and high level of care provided.
Smile designer has gained the highest status: Diamond II. And SmileDesigner is a Diamond Apex provider which means we are in the top 1% of Invisalign providers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Why Choose an Invisalign Diamond Apex Provider?
When it comes to choosing an Invisalign provider, experience matters.
Diamond II providers are the most experienced in their field because they perform more treatments per year.
To achieve Diamond II status, an orthodontist must have performed 800 treatments. And they must continue to perform 400 treatments per year to maintain the status.
Understanding the different Invisalign provider levels can help you choose the best provider for you.
At SmileDesigner, we work hard to achieve our Diamond II status, so you can be confident we have the expertise and experience to help you achieve your dream smile.
